About us 

After 35 years as a partner in an established electrical contracting firm, Martin Rainsford recognised the opportunity to build a new, forward-thinking company. In February 2014, Darwin Electrical Services was founded.

Three experienced employees from the previous company joined Martin at the outset, forming a strong and reliable team. The business continued to grow, and in 2018 Stephen Rainsford was brought in as Co-Director, bringing with him extensive knowledge and experience within the events sector.

Since then, Darwin Electrical has expanded its services to include event solutions alongside its core electrical work. We operate with a strong core team of employed staff, supported by a network of committed and trusted subcontractors, allowing us to expand while maintaining high standards across all projects.

Today, Darwin Electrical Services is a skilled and dedicated team, delivering high-quality solutions across both electrical and event sectors, and capable of meeting a wide range of client needs.

Darwin has full membership of the NICEIC and we pride ourselves on providing a professional, speedy and courteous service at all times whilst maintaining the highest quality of work.
