NIE-EIC

NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly sixty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.

International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)

 

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense, through providing technical advice and information, through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards, through its safety initiatives and training programmes.

City and Guilds 2382-15 17th Edition

 

This qualification ensures that we are working to the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 17th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations, which came into force in June 2008. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).

G39/1
 

The G39/1 Qualification is designed for anybody working in a highways environment, such as street lighting and festive Illuminations. This provides us with the knowledge & practical key skills required for work in the vicinity of DNO (Distribution Network Operator) equipment, including overhead power lines, the removal and replacement of DNO cut-out fuse carriers in a safe and responsible manner to comply with company and legislative policies.

Ladder and Step Ladder Safety 

 

Under the Working at Height Regulations 2005 all Darwin Electrical Services employees are trained for the correct use of Ladders and Step ladders.   

Waste Carriers License

 

When carrying waste away from site its important that you hold a Waste Carriers License to allow you to comply with the Environment Agencys regulations. Darwin Electrical Services are Registered with the Environment Agency for our own waste removal generated while on site.
